Herb Chambers: In red, white and blue, car dealers lure in buyers

(NECN: Greg Wayland, Sharon, Mass.) – Presidents Day weekend is traditionally one of the busiest weekends of the year for the car industry. New England car dealers are trying to lure in customers with special deals and attractive financing offers.

All of Herb Chambers dealerships are offering great deals to kick off the spring season, and are decorated in festive red, white and blue balloons and bunting and serving cherry pie and other great refreshments.

So, with the economy in crisis, how are things shaping up this year?

This year, things seem to be working for both car dealers and consumers amidst a down economy.

Dealers say the products are moving this Presidents Day weekend.
